Licensing and Contracting Specialist - Hybrid

(Can be based out of Woodbridge, Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg or Montreal for in-office days)

The Licensing and Contracting Specialist role offers a variety of responsibilities, and we are seeking someone who ‘gets’ customer service and is looking for a challenging role in a fun environment. This role also offers the opportunity to build strong relationships with our clients (Insurance Advisors) and carriers (Insurance Companies) through seamless customer service and support. **What your day will look like**:
Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with the HUB International Regional staff, working in partnership with them in getting advisors onboarded, licensed and contracted with insurers.

Discuss the onboarding process with the advisor and communicate the requirements for a complete set up

Ensure proper setup of the advisor in APEXA and in our Backoffice system.

Handle licensing and sponsorship requests when necessary for new and existing advisors

Process life and group carrier contracts. Responsibilities include:
Provide guidance to the advisor, as required

Follow up with carriers, as required

Process reassignment of business for advisors

Send communication and instruction to carriers to update corporate and broker accounts as acquisitions are completed.

Work on other contracting projects, as assigned

**You will be successful in this role if you have**:
A positive attitude, the constant desire to help others, curiosity, and the ability to deliver consistent performance

3-5 years industry-related experience

Strong time management, organizational and prioritization skills

Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite & most online meeting platforms

Effective interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)

Experience using APEXA and WealthServ an asset

Working Conditions

Normal office environment and/or Hybrid Work-from-Home
