**Strategy and Development**
- Participate in the development of the purchasing and procurement strategy for our facilities.
- Analyze the market, find new suppliers.
- Research and evaluate potential new suppliers.
- Conduct tenders, analyze proposals, and select the most suitable suppliers.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other professional events.

**Supplier Management and Negotiation**
- Take charge of all our suppliers, including international suppliers.
- Develop good relationships with suppliers.
- Maintain and develop trust relationships with suppliers.
- Contact suppliers and negotiate supply contracts.
- Meet with suppliers, negotiate discounts, prices, transportation, and terms and conditions.
- Regularly evaluate supplier performance (quality, on-time delivery, costs).
- Manage any disputes and non-compliance with suppliers.

**Inventory and Purchasing Management**
- Manage inventories of our manufacturing facilities to ensure optimal material optimization.
- Determine needs and place orders and purchases.
- Optimize the supply and delivery chain.
- Monitor stock levels to ensure inventory optimization and meet company needs.
- Coordinate with the logistics department to manage replenishments.
- Analyze stock movements and forecast future needs based on consumption trends and seasonal cycles.
- Participate in periodic physical inventories and verify inventory data accuracy.
- Place orders with selected suppliers.
- Monitor and verify delivery compliance with orders.
- Follow up with representatives for finished products in inventory, ensuring product rotation.

**Collaboration and Communication**
- Work closely with the sales team to research and develop new products.
- Work closely with senior management.
- Provide regular reporting to management.

**Administration and Analysis**
- Prepare price quotes.
- Ensure the updating of supplier and product databases.
- Analyze purchasing trends and forecast future needs.

**Essential Qualifications**:
**Required qualifications**:
**Bilingual French-English**

**Strong analytical and synthesis skills**

**Proficiency in the Office suite**

**Ability to travel as required (usually a few times a year)**

**Excellent presentation and communication skills**

**5 to 10 years' experience in supply chain management**

**Preferred qualifications**:
**Experience in the packaging or label industry.**

**Ability to work collaboratively with different departments.**

**Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.**

**Experience using ERP (accounting software)**

**Bachelor's degree in procurement or equivalent (related training or work experience will be considered).
