JOB DESCRIPITION:
We specialize in painting parking lots. This includes painting things such as: Parking lines, Arrows, Speedbumps, Curbing, Lettering, Numbering, Logos, Etc.

Painting is done using a gas powered spray machine and stencils. Crews work in teams of two, this means there is one foreman and one helper per a crew. No experience is required - you will start as a helper and will be trained to be a foreman.

WAGES:
Wage starts at $20 for the first two weeks of training and $25 after that. Foremen start at $30.

This job particularly caters to young singles who enjoy being outside and prefer not to work in the winter. The job involves lots of walking around so enjoying cardio is important to appreciate the work. On average you will work 35 hours per week.

You must be:

- Flexible: You will be either on a day crew or night crew but start times will slightly vary depending on the job. You must be willing to work weekends however we will not expect you to work two weekends back to back.You must have full availability.
- Transportation: You must have a car to drive to work sites - jobs are typically finished in a day so works sites change often.
- Attentive to detail: We want workers who take pride in their work and fix their mistakes. We pride ourselves in doing a good job - no sloppy work.
- Able-bodied and have good hand-eye coordination: Quite a bit of walking around is involved and painting with the machine requires good hand-eye coordination.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW:
Line painting work slows down around November and picks up again in March. During the off season you may want to find another job or we can help you get on EI.

**Salary**: $25.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 50 per week
