Ndt Technician

We are currently seeking a full-time NDT Level 2 inspector operating out of Sault Ste. Marie, ON. We specialize in Non-Destructive Testing and Visual inspection of various structures, cranes, heavy industrial equipment, lifting devices, etc. in various industrial and non industrial settings.

The job will require performing Level Two magnetic particle inspections in various environments.
- All work is performed in accordance with our Health & Safety Policy, Ontario Regulations and Client Safety Requirements,
- Maintain clear, complete, and accurate records of time, mileage, and other expenses,
- Work independently or as part of a team,
- Live in the Sault Ste. Marie area,
- Possess a strong work ethic and dedication to customer service and
- Applicants must own a vehicle, hold a valid Ontario Driver’s License and be capable of travelling to various job site, for short or long durations, within the Algoma/Sudbury District.
- Certified and able to work at heights and occasionally in confined spaces,
- Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform non-destructive testing at various job sites,
- Display good technical knowledge of codes, standards, and regulatory requirements,
- Ensure that NDT is performed in accordance with applicable codes and customer specifications,
- Produce quality reports using Microsoft Office,
- Interact effectively with clients and produce quality field reports,
- Perform additional work as required.
- Physically able to perform the work required
- Follow all health & safety policies on all job sites

Qualifications:

- **CGSB certification as MT2 Required**:

- CGSB certification in PT and UT is an asset and
- CWB Level 2 Visual Inspector, certified to CSA/CWB W59 is an asset

**Experience**:

- Minimum three (3) year experience in the NDE field, with the last one-year experience as a certified NDE Technician
