Arborist / Tree Climber

Service d’Arbres Brandse Inc. is looking for a Tree Climber to join our team

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform tree climbing, pruning, thinning, reducing, and removals using techniques such as lowering ropes, lifts, and other specialized equipment.
- Install cables and other support systems to provide structural stability to trees.
- Conduct tree risk assessments and make recommendations for appropriate tree care procedures.
- Communicate knowledgeably, respectfully, and courteously with customers and fellow employees, providing exceptional customer service.
- Adhere to industry standards, best practices, and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Continuously update and enhance knowledge through ongoing educational training
- Maintain and care for equipment and tools used in tree care operations.
- Comply with company policies and procedures, maintaining professionalism and integrity in all aspects of the job.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as an arborist, with expertise in tree climbing, pruning, and removal techniques.
- Proficiency in using specialized equipment
- Strong knowledge of tree species, diseases, and treatment methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers and team members professionally and courteously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, displaying a strong work ethic and reliability.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to safe work practices at all times.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Benefits and Compensation:

- Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications ($25-35 per hour)

Contract length: 5 months

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

- Saint-Lazare, QC J7T 0A7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Climbing: 1 year (preferred)
