The Project Manager is responsible for the successful and profitable management of structured cabling projects. He or she coordinates all interactions with the customer. Including but not limited to planning, scheduling, change management, communication, client relationships, project costs, estimating, subcontracts, and closing using project management tools. Projects are executed in compliance with the contract and in accordance with the industry and Marcomm standards.
This a **_Hybrid-Remote_** role where the Project Manager will have an opportunity to work remotely, but will be required to conduct regular site visits as necessary.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Ensures projects are planned and organized according to Marcomm commitments and budget estimates
- Plans and organizes workloads in conjunction with the Team Leader, Technicians and sub-contractors according to project plans and specifications
- Directs and leads the Team Leads towards Marcomm’s goals and objectives
- Ensures compliance and implements company procedure with regards to health & safety and quality; drives a health and safety culture, leads by being an inspiring role model and setting examples to the team participates in the JOHSC meeting as a management representative
- Ensures financial KPI’s are followed and met. Proposes alternative solutions and actions when required
- Resolves operational issues
- Manages sub-contractors
- Optimizes project productivities with regard to resources and equipment
- Manages resources to meet established annual budget and measure regional financial performance on a monthly basis
- Manages company’s fleet and equipment
- Participate in estimate preparation as required
- Lead, communicate and live the company’s vision and culture
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of field supervision and project management
- Relevant Business degree/diploma
- Previous experience working on structured cabling and/or telecommunication civil projects
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve operational issues
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Available to travel across the region
- Use organizational expertise and management skills to reach financial and operational goals
- Identify and resolve technical, operational and organizational issues and problems
- According to business plan, make decisions to meet financial performance
- Capable to develop teams and staff according to company’s vision and goals
- Participate, develop and implement strategies
- Ensure projects and contracts are executed according to commitments and propose plan of actions when required
- Lead and manage human resources and equipment to ensure company’s goals are met
