Medical Receptionist

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

- Answer the phone and deal with patient concerns. The front desk will book appointments from telephone calls.
- They will contact the patients under the direction of the doctor’s to relay results and/or the need for follow-up appointments.
- They will put all pertinent patient information into the EMR. If it is a new patient to the clinic they will ensure all information is entered and a chart is started.
- They will process all third party billing. They will input the data into our EMR produce an invoice and accept payment. Once payment is received then payment with a copy of the invoice is forwarded to the correct doctor.
- Monitor and empty the faxes ensuring that reports and forms are actioned and are date stamped and forwarded to the correct person.
- They will confirm patient standing within the clinic and forward information received to the appropriate doctor either within or outside of our clinic.

**Salary**: $16.55-$18.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All patients are actively screened before they come into the clinic and must wear a mask. All staff wear masks and are required to be full vaccinated or have bi-weekly rapid Covid tests.
