Kingston, Canada Enviro Masters Lawn Care Full time

Enviro Masters Lawn Care is looking for a full-time seasonal employee, available to work approximately 50 hours per week with 1 week of holidays during July. Our season usually runs from April to the end of October. Hourly pay range starts at $20 an hour plus bonuses. Additional bonus and health care benefits will be negotiated at time of hire.
Your job, as a lawn technician, will involve mainly weed control, fertilization of lawns, and performing mechanical services on lawns (i.e. aeration, power sweeping etc). You will also be performing occasional landscaping duties. You will be required to obtain a technician’s license, which we will train and certify you for. The job is outside and physical and therefore you must be in good physical condition.
Occupation Tasks
- Fill and operate a spreader for fertilizer and other granular treatments.
- Cover areas with pesticides.
- Start motors and engage machinery, such as aerators, de-thatchers, power sweepers, sprayer agitators and pumps or portable spray equipment.
- Clean and service machinery to ensure operating efficiency, using water, gasoline, lubricants, and/or hand tools.

Occupational Requirements
- Operating Vehicles, Mechanized Devices, or Equipment - Running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment, such as trucks, aerators, rollers, power rakes etc.
- Physical Strength - Lifting, moving, carrying, and pushing supplies and equipment, loading and unloading truck bed and trailers, wearing a backpack spray unit for extended periods and other manual tasks.
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Time Management - Managing one's own time and the time of others.
- Dependability - Job requires being reliable, responsible, dependable, and fulfilling obligations.
- Attention to Detail - Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
- Independence - Job requires developing one's own ways of doing things, guiding oneself with little or no supervision, and depending on oneself to get things done.

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
