Position is Monday to Friday 830 am - 330 pm

Contact would be September 1, 2023 to August 30, 2024 with the possibility of renewal.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Creating a climate of care, trust and respect by demonstrating caring behaviours, taking steps to build partnerships, providing support and guidance and encouraging open communication between all team members, children and families.
- Ensure adherence to licensing and compliance requirements, including Mighty Mouse policies and procedures.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with the children.
- Assist by monitoring, observing, recording, and reporting on behavioural, learning and personal patterns.
- Assist children through a variety of activities following each individual child's care plan
- Provide an inclusive environment for children with diverse needs to fully participate within the program.
- Contribute to the development, integration, and maintenance of care plans within the program.
- Help children navigate conflict and role model positive behaviors.
- Ensure the health and safety of children in your care.
- Organized and detailed.
- ECE, ECEA, EA, or RA Certification
- Experience is a MUST
- A Clean Criminal Record Check.
- CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Three References; and
- Record of compliance with BC immunization program.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $21.82-$25.82 per hour
