**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate honing machines to hone various aerospace parts, including but not limited to engine components, landing gear, and hydraulic cylinders.
- Interpret and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine specifications and tolerances for honing operations.
- Ensure that all honing operations are performed in compliance with applicable safety, quality, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Monitor and inspect honing operations to ensure that parts are within required tolerances and specifications.
- Make necessary adjustments to machines and tools to ensure proper operation and quality of parts.
- Maintain and clean honing machines and related equipment on a regular basis.
- Document all honing operations and quality control results in accordance with company procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve processes and reduce waste.
- Train and mentor new Honing Operators as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in honing operations in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in interpreting and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Knowledge of honing machines and related equipment, including setup, operation, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, and bore gauges.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations and read and interpret measuring instruments accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required to meet production demands
