Landscaping Laborer (Full Time)

Reporting to Crew Lead

**Description**: We are looking for an individual with landscaping experience. The focus of this team will be on the construction side of the business, including but not limited to**:

- **Installation of lawns
**- **Patios
**- **Retaining walls
**- **Custom gardens
**- **Etc.

This will involve the use of heavy equipment including ~3 ton excavators, skid steers, dump trailers, and heavy duty trucks. Training will be provided as required, however experience is considered an asset.

**Responsibilities**: - Travel to and from the required work site.
- Ongoing safety and industry training.
- Strong commitment to job site safety requirements.
- Completion of a daily work sheet.
- Strong communication with clients on site.
- Strong communication with team members.

**Compensation**: - Total starting compensation of up to $22 per hour.

Base pay of $20 per hour for first season o Bonus of $1 per hour for having no unscheduled absences / late arrivals (payable each pay period) o Bonus of $1 per hour for completing jobs in the allocated time.

**Duration**: - Effective April 15, 2023*
**- **End of season is December 20, 2023*
- Start and end date are weather dependent. We may continue to work though the winter if appropriate opportunities are present.

**Requirements**: -Ability to perform strenuous manual labor.
- Valid drivers license.
- Mechanical aptitude an asset.
- Ability to work alone or in a team environment.
- Complete and maintain training as required.
- Ability to be on call and work overtime.
- Subject to satisfactory review of background checks, including criminal record and drivers abstract.

**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
