**Annual Salary: $77,028.90 - $96,285.15**

Reporting to the Manager - Youth Residential and Clinical Programs, the Community Engagement and Regional Development Coordinator will provide leadership and guidance with development plans and Regional implementation of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Program (CAPS) and will work collaboratively with Regional partners on all aspects of implementation. The Coordinator will have a specific focus on development of the CAPS program in the NW region. Provides leadership and works collaboratively with Regional staff (e.g., SW & RN), Psychiatrists, Directors and organizational leaders across the CAPS network. The Coordinator will also lead the collaboration and linkage of the Regional partners with the SJCG hub of the Child Psychiatry program and provide guidance to the teams to maximize access to Child psychiatry resources and smooth transitions in care.

**Qualifications**:
**Education/Experience**:

- Degree in Clinical-related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience relevant to the position
- A minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible leadership and administrative experience
- Extensive knowledge of Addictions, Mental Health and Child and Adolescent development.
- Leadership experience in project management with the ability to manage complex projects involving multiple agencies, budgets and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated knowledge of community resources and community needs.
- Experience developing, implementing and sustaining networks/partnerships.

**Skills/Abilities**:

- Excellent interpersonal skills both orally and in writing and ability to communicate at a level appropriate depending on the target audience
- Ability to effectively communicate with provincial training leaders, other consultants, partners, program managers, and directors
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized with the ability to meet provincial data submission timelines
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, co-workers, and customers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong project/time management, excellent analytical/critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency with office computer equipment and software, including MS Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Time management and organizational skills in order to effectively address and prioritize multiple tasks and timelines.
- Strong leadership skills with the proven ability to share skills and knowledge with others
- Strong group facilitation and presentation skills
- The ability for self-directed learning/working, as well as collaboration and teamwork
- Creative problem-solving abilities
- The ability to work effectively in a wide range of settings with individuals from diverse backgrounds

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**:

- This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
- Will be required to travel to various work locations and provide own transportation
