Sushi Roller:
**Notice: We will be training everyone that is accepted for the position to roll sushi properly. There is not necessarily any need to have previous experience.**
Qualifications required for this role:
- Being able to work as a team.
- Multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- To be able to organise your work space.
- Being able to problem-solve.
- Time management skills.
- Knowledge of various sushi types.
- Ability to work fast but effectively.
- Certification from a culinary school is a plus.
Responsibilities for this role:
- Handling a wide range of raw fish and other ingredients.
- Working with an attention to details to fulfil orders to quality standards.
- Preparing and making all types of sushi such as maki, nigiri and sashimi.
- Maintain hygiene principles in all cooking and food preparation areas.
- Cleaning space at the end of the shift.
- Monitor food stock and place orders as needed.
- Manage food prep activities such as boiling rice.
Other information:
- Pays 15$/hr
- Accepting Full-time
- Accepting Part-time
- Availability for Lunch (11:30 am
- 3pm) and Dinner (4pm-8:30pm) shifts from Monday to Sunday.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
**Salary**: $15.00 per hour
