We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Behavioural Consultant to join our MDT Pediatric team As a Behavioural Consultant, you will play a vital role in providing pediatric services alongside our team to children and their families within Calgary, Cochrane, Airdrie and surrounding area's. **Duties**:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of client's daily processes, goals, and challenges
- Develop and implement tailored strategies and solutions to address client's needs
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on best practices and industry trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality deliverables
- Deliver engaging presentations and reports to clients, showcasing insights and recommendations
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of milestones
- Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor
- Stay updated on the latest industry developments and continuously enhance your knowledge
**Skills**:
- Be comfortable working independently, as well as within a multidisciplinary team
- Show strong time management skills and flexibility within scheduling
- Experience working with children of different ages and developmental needs
- Available for after school sessions with families and team members
- Knowledge of sensory & self-regulation for children with complex mental health needs and challenging behaviours
- Special education experience is preferred
- Ability to provide patient care with empathy and compassion
- Experience working with children is highly desirable
- Masters degree in Social Work and currently registered with the Alberta College of Social Workers.
- Carry valid Professional Liability Insurance
- Experience and knowledge of the FSCD programming is considered an asset.
- Prior experience providing interventions to diverse groups of children, youth and emerging adults, with a variety of emotional, behavioural, social and learning needs is considered an asset.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $87.00-$115.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
Schedule:
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Cochrane, AB
