**This Opportunity**

We are currently seeking to fill a Part-Time position as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)/Support Service Attendant/Health Care Aide in the Niagara Region. The starting wage is $22.52 per hour, which includes paid travel time and mileage. This position also benefits from a $3.00 per hour temporary wage enhancement from the Ontario government for hours spent directly supporting clients (starting at $19.52). _**A valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a reliable vehicle are required.**_

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Assist consumers in their own homes with non-medical activities of daily living in accordance with individual service plans and March of Dimes Canada policies and procedures:

- Personal care
- Dressing/Grooming
- Rising/retiring
- Incontinence care (upon training)
- Meal preparation and feeding
- Range of motion exercises
- Light housekeeping duties
- Lifts and transfers (upon training)
- Perform duties in a professional manner that respects the dignity and privacy of clients, and maintains consumer and staff health and safety.
- Support Services Attendants will be required to work multiple shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, across various locations in the Niagara Region.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Experience working with individuals with physical disabilities, older adults, or as an informal caregiver is considered an asset but is not required
- Good interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Physical Demands Self-Analysis required upon hire
- Ability to work flexible and regularly scheduled hours
