We are currently seeking and have an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of **Linear Bearing Application Specialist**. The location is flexible to **any Applied branch within the Greater Toronto Area**.

**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the National Sales Manager - OEM, the **Linear Bearing Application Specialist** will work with our OEM customers in a focused technical sales role. Having a value-added sales approach is a must, with a primary focus on growing our Linear Bearing sales to both new customers and our existing customer base. This will require a proactive sales approach with the ability to call on management, engineers, purchasing, and others to determine their needs through a consultative approach.
- New business development as well as maintaining existing sales with all products but with a focus on Linear Bearings
- Engaging in direct OEM sales activities - prospect for new OEM customers, set appointments for sales efforts, respond to customer’s requirements
- Work with management to develop sales strategies and new business prospects
- Identify opportunities to sell the One Best Applied portfolio of products & services and hand off non-focus products to the appropriate departments
- Effectively manage your customer base to meet or exceed sales targets
- Maintain cooperative and productive team relationships with your fellow staff members
- Attend training and sales meetings as required
- Applied will provide technical and product training for all major product lines.
- 5 years of relevant industry experience with a focus on OEM customers/clients is required
- Personal drive to meet or exceed annual sales goals
- Track record of delivering on growth and profitability
- Ability to prospect for new clients
- Maintain customer relations and build new relationships
- Conduct themselves in a professional manner
- Be sales and service oriented
- Have good organizational skills
- Analytical and problem solving capability
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Proven ability to work in a team environment - Must be able to build relationships with inside sales force and other team members
- Self motivated and the ability to work independently
