**I. Purpose of the Job**
- Coordinates day-to-day activities for invoice processing to ensure timely payment to suppliers.

**II. Responsibilities**
- Investigates and settles problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders
- Reconciles accounts and vendor statements by identifying errors in postings or omissions and corrects discrepancies
- Perform an A/P clean-up on a quarterly basis and a year-end clean-up
- Assesses and reports on the financial performance and accounts payable function of the organization, including management reporting, financial analysis, development of improved control measures
- Verifies the invoices and supporting report documentation and answer queries on the invoice, adjustments, and settlements
- Provide leadership, guidance, supervision and support to the BPO Team in China and the Montreal staff ensuring their understanding of their roles.
- Help establish work guidelines, priorities and standards of performance to ensure that vendors are paid on a timely basis according to established terms and norms.
- Ensure staff training and continued development (cross train), in order to provide back-up and continued growth.
- Set up, initiate wire transfers, EFT, ACH, EDI payments
- Perform any Executives special payment request including cash requirements & foreign currencies
- Back-up for Overhead, UPS payment and billing
- Other ad-hoc tasks

**III. Communications**
- Communicate with Managers, Executives and operations staff to transmit and receive information.
- Communicate with vendors to obtain or to receive additional information related to invoices or bills (when applicable).

**IV. Dimensions**
- The department processes close to 2500 EFTs, Wires, ACH and cheques per month.

**V. Physical Constraints and Working Conditions**
- Work done in an open space, mostly seated at workplace;
- Subject of being disturbed in the normal course of the day;
- May occasionally be in contact with unsatisfied people that could lead to hostile or tense relations, when payments of invoices are delayed.

**VI. Qualifications**
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field;
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem solving skills and highly organized.
