Be part of our team We are looking for enthusiastic and friendly professionals for our Bistro who can deliver, maintain and enhance the quality of our Courtyard by Marriott customer service.

JOB OVERVIEW: Greet and serve the guest using the Courtyard Marriott Brampton’s standard.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Communication - Excellent communication and social skills, 100% fluency in English with high standards of hygiene and grooming.
- Practical knowledge - to exceed expectations for world class customer service with understanding fine dining, wine, beverage and service standards similar of the leading hotels in the world.
- Safety Cautious - to demonstrate safe work practices and to look for ways to minimize workplace injuries
- Decision making and problem solving
- to be able to prioritize, and to make reasonable decisions. To be proficient at multiple tasking, calmly and respectfully resolves problems as required.

- Technology proficiency
- Operates and maintains all departmental equipment, fully competent with POS.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Prepare tables with special attention to sanitation and order
- Present menus and help customers select food and beverages
- Take and serve guest orders promptly and according to service manual.
- Operate the electronic P.O.S. system
- Hands on experience in cashier duties
- General knowledge of food preparation techniques.
- Perform any other job related duties and all necessary set-up side work as assigned.
- Ability to effectively deal with guest and employee concerns and complaints in a friendly and positive manner.
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

- Day shift
- Evening shift
