Barista

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while expertly preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items. Your ability to provide exceptional customer service will be key in ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to standard recipes.
- Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Engage with customers to create a friendly environment and encourage repeat visits.

**Skills**
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons.
- Experience in the food industry, particularly in coffee and drink preparation or service roles.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a safe dining experience for customers.
- Familiarity with POS systems for processing orders and payments.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

Pay: $15.30 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 33 per week
