Job Description:
**Responsibilities**:
- Slaughter livestock and remove viscera and other inedible parts from carcasses.
- Slaughter cattle, calves, and sheep as prescribed by religious laws.
- Cut beef, lamb, or veal carcasses or sides or quarters of carcasses into primal cuts for
further cutting, processing or packaging.
- Remove feathers and singe and wash poultry to prepare for further processing or packaging.
- Cut meat and poultry into specific cuts for institutional, commercial or other wholesale use.
- Remove bones from meat.
- Perform humane and efficient animal slaughter according to halal standards and company policies.
- Break down and prepare carcasses for further processing.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and food safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work in a team to ensure the safe and efficient processing of livestock.
**Requirements**:
- At least 2 years of experience working in a slaughterhouse.
- Experience actively working on killing livestock.
- Strong understanding of halal meat production principles and practices.
- Ability to work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Strong work ethic and reliable.
