ASM Global has an immediate opening at Canada Games Park for Facility Groundskeeper. Reporting to the Facility Operations Manager, this position maintains the garden beds and outdoor amenities.
- **Summary**_
Responsible for the daily maintenance, and service of the facility garden beds and outdoor amenities. This role is predominantly stationed outdoors throughout the summer months and may be called upon for indoor duties as required. This role will primarily be scheduled Monday
- Friday during the day.
- **Essential Duties and Responsibilities**_
- Garden bed maintenance
- Event setup and tear down
- Grounds maintenance
- Custodial/janitorial duties
- Other duties as assigned
- **Education and Experience**_
- Secondary school graduate.
- Related venue/facility experience is an asset.
- Demonstrate familiarity with tools and maintenance equipment.
- **Skills and Abilities**_
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to work with landscaping tools and operate motorized side-by-side.
- Ability to work with limited supervision and as a team member.
- Ability to develop good rapport with management, tenants, fellow employees, and the general public.
- Professional presentation, appearance and work ethic.
- Adaptability, able to adapt to changes in the workplace.

This position requires work inside and outside of the building and some exposure to adverse conditions. Additionally, this job includes close vision for review of information on a PC monitor, as well as, hard copy output. In addition, use of hands for typing.
