**Hybrid Requirements**:Oakville, ON - Remote with two days in-office per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays)

**About the role**:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable IT Support Specialist to join our team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for handling all IT-related tasks, including new computer setups, equipment management, and software/tool access administration and security.

**How you'll help build the future**:

- Manage and maintain computer hardware and peripherals.
- Ensure the proper functioning of network systems and troubleshoot any connectivity issues.
- Provide technical support to employees for hardware and software-related inquiries.
- Monitor and maintain an inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve technical issues and implement system upgrades.
- Conduct regular system and software updates to ensure security and improve performance.
- Provide training to staff on IT-related procedures and best practices.

**What you bring to the role**:

- Proven work experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting computer and network issues.
- Experience with computer setup, software installation, and equipment management.
- Familiarity with user account administration and access control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and effectively prioritize tasks.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
