Seasonal Labourer

**Job title: Seasonal Labourer**

**Work Schedule: 14 days on and 14 days off - 12 hours shift daily**

**Location: Gogama, ON (Côté Gold Site)**

**Job Overview**:
The Seasonal Labourer will be responsible for executing skilled manual labour, while providing support to the Field Supervisor. Seasonal Labourer's primary role will be to perform snow removal duties. Please note that this role is physically demanding and work to be performed outside in the elements of Northern Ontario’s winters.

*Note that PPE will be provided for the successful applicants.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Snow removal and road maintenance.
- Equipment Operator experience is an asset.
- Follow instructions from the Supervisor to perform manual labour tasks.
- Clean and perform preparation of the worksite.
- Operate various hand and power tools to complete projects.
- Fueling machinery and dewatering site.
- Material handling
- Help with setting up and transferring temporary structures (I.e., scaffolding)
- Will be a spotter for Equipment Operators.
- Perform additional tasks as required.

**Education/Qualifications**:

- High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred.
- Good communication skills required.
- Must be able to work independently and with others.
- Valid surface miner common core is an asset. However, if hired this would be required to obtain.
- G Class Driver’s license with clean driving record (abstract required if hired).
- Must be conversant with OHSA regulations and comply with the site safety plan and rules.

**Work Schedule and Environment**:

- 14 days in and 14 days out rotation - 12 hours shift daily.
- Working outside as required for Site Services and working indoors as required when completing new construction and ongoing maintenance.
- Primarily Snow removal work.
- Physically demanding.

- French not required
