Lead Construction Worker

Halifax, Canada Fares & Co Development Full time

Responsibilities:

- Load, unload, and transport construction materials
- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
- Mix, pour and spread materials
- Assist heavy equipment operators
- Assist with various construction tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials,
- Assist in framing, erecting walls and building roofs
- Level earth to fine grade specifications
- Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
- Follow instructions from supervisors and perform tasks accordingly
- Operate and maintain construction equipment and tools
- Assist in setting up and taking down temporary structures
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations on the job site
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of projects

**Requirements**:

- Experience in construction minimum 5 years
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Basic knowledge of budgeting and quality control principles
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when necessary
