Job description

Primary Objective: To help support our continued growth and provide great customer service and satisfaction, we are seeking a result focused, high energy & self-motivated individual for the role of Automotive Apprentice Technician.
- Diagnose and repair vehicles as required
- Perform regular maintenance services on vehicles
- Remain updated with current training courses through Nissan Canada.
- Comply with required health and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Follow all company and manufacturer policies, directives and procedures
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, as indicated on work order, with accuracy and efficiency in accordance with dealership and Nissan Canada
- Inspect and diagnose the source of any malfunction and perform repair.
- Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain needed parts.
- Save and tag parts under warranty.
- Examine the vehicle to determine the need for additional safety or service work.
- Document work performed.
- Road-test vehicles to quality check work performed or refer to Shop supervisor.
- Use floor mats and seat covers when working on vehicles.
- Maintain a neat and orderly shop area.
- Account for all dealership-owned tools.
- Follow all company and manufacturer policies, directives and procedures.
- Comply with required health & safety regulations.
- Perform any other duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- 2 years of relevant experience performing mechanical repairs as an apprentice, automotive technician.
- Must have own tools
- Ability to work Monday to Saturday
- Must have a Valid Driver License
- Efficiency and timeliness in completing work order
