**Job Posting: Recreational Coordinator**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and oversee training schedules for recreational programs, ensuring alignment with Gymnastics Ontario and Kawartha Gymnastics standards.
- Lead coach scheduling and maintain adequate staffing levels to support high-quality programming.
- Deliver inclusive recreational programming, including camps and events, that aligns with our mission and coaching philosophy.
- Monitor program participation, gather feedback, and implement improvements to enhance participant experience.
- Oversee the development and implementation of skill tracking and reporting systems for athletes.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and operational policies, including incident reporting and health guidelines.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to meet strategic objectives and ensure program success.
- Provide mentorship and support to recreational coaches, fostering professional growth and program excellence.
**Qualifications**:
- 4+ years experience in the sport of gymnastics (as athlete or coach).
- NCCP Comp 1 Trained certification (or higher).
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
- Experience with Gymnastics Ontario recreational program guidelines.
- 1-2 years management experience
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong ability to lead teams and foster a collaborative environment.
- Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check.
**Working Conditions**:
- A dynamic environment that includes coaching on the gym floor and office-based administrative work.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to meet program needs.
- Physical capability to move equipment and support athlete safety during programs.
