Review and authorize requests for new petty cash floats / changes to existing petty cash floats. Review and authorize Cheque requisitions (non-Pos). Participates in policy creation and ensuring updates are completed as assigned. Prepares and assists with distribution of communications, as required. Responsible for providing requested information to auditors. Responsible for oversight of all aspects of trust accounting. 25% Human Resources: Responsible for recruitment and selection processes. Provides direction, guidance and training to Accounts Receivable staff. Responsible for staff scheduling and time keeping. Handle conflict resolution between staff. **Required Qualifications**:
Grade XII diploma or equivalent required. A diploma in accounting from a recognized post-secondary institution is required, a degree is preferred. Seven to Ten years progressively responsible experience in Billing, Cash handling, and account analysis as well as 2-3 years of supervisory experience. A combination of education and experience would also be considered.
