Edmonton, Canada Bitzer Trucking Ltd Full time

Local company that's been in business for decades is currently looking for Class 1 Drivers. We are currently expanding and require more drivers. All work is local, so hours would be from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, but can often have days where you will be required to come in earlier or leave later. We are specifically looking for drivers with Flat Deck experience, with understanding of loading, offloading and securing the loads. Our trucks are equipped with Moffett's, so it would be a asset if you have experience, however we are willing to train. Looking for Part time that will lead to Full Time hours once everything starts picking up.

After 3 months you can obtain group benefits. Please send resume and current commercial driver's abstract. Job does require physical labor. Job duty may vary as well as vehicle being driven. Must have own transportation.

Salary is based on years of experience.

**Duties**:

- Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods from one location to another
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Load and unload cargo using Moffett/Forklift or other equipment as necessary
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic automotive repairs when needed
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules

**Requirements**:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving or operating heavy equipment
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures
- Ability to operate a Moffett/forklift and other related equipment safely
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of long hours on the road and loading/unloading cargo
- Must have own vehicle

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 50 per week
