**About the opportunity**:
Pathogenia Inc is looking for an experienced Microbiologist with strong knowledge of microbial IDs and experiences in working in a GMP laboratory for their Saint Laurent laboratory.

**Responsibilities**:

- Performing the Microbial Examination Test in a timely fashion
- Execute microbiology methods and validation protocols.
- Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with GMP procedures
- Maintaining and qualify microbial stock cultures
- Performing environmental monitoring air, surface monitoring of rooms and water systems (purified and potable) microbial monitoring
- Participates in Laboratory Investigations, Out of Specification Investigations, Change Control and CAPA programs

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or relevant discipline
- Good theoretical and practical knowledge of microbiological techniques
- Knowledge of Microbial IDs and investigations
- Must be able to multi-task and work both independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge and experience of GMP guidelines, quality systems as well as USP and EP Pharmacopeia standards
