Foundation Building Materials (FBM) is currently seeking a hands-on, high energy Warehouse Lead to lead our team in the Delta, BC area.

Warehouse/Stocker Supervisors are a skilled group of individuals that masterfully organize work, manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, and develop employees. The position will also play a key role as we expand our sales activities to support our growing business.

Essential Warehouse/Stocker Supervisor Functions/Qualifications:

- 3-5 years of building supply warehouse experience preferably in the construction industry.
- Manages all warehouse activities in support of operations: maintenance of building and grounds, receiving, storing, picking delivering, and shipping materials, and inside/outside sales and etc.
- Maintains the appearance of the warehouse in a safe and orderly manner.
- Collaborating with a team of experienced long-term members, you will do some lifting (50+ pounds). You can cancel your gym membership.
- Enforces safety guidelines and promotes a safe work environment.
- Maintains a high level of customer focus.
- Ensure that duties and responsibilities required of a warehouse assistant are accurate, timely and executed to company standards.
- Maintains a full understanding of all products by identification, weight, and size.
- Must be able to operate a forklift and be willing to make deliveries as needed (Sprinter Van). A Class 5 license is required.
- Verifies truck loads, maintains a basic knowledge of trucks, forklifts, and other equipment to determine necessary repairs.
- Establish, build, and maintain customer relationships.

- High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent work experience and/or training.
- After receipt of conditional offer of employment, must be able to pass drug screen.
