Counsellor

Camrose Open Door Association is hiring a Counsellor to provide mental health supports to youth and their families. The counsellor must be registered by a governing body, but is not required to be a Psychologist. Days and times of work are flexible, understanding that the position is not full time.
- Masters degree in counselling or psychology with a minimum of 3-5 years counselling experience
- Experience with individuals who have experienced trauma;
- Experience working with youth and families in the context of counselling;
- Comprehensive understanding of the issues and complexities of the issues facing youth and their families;
- Knowledge of and commitment to working within a harm reduction framework;
- An understanding of and an ability to work with diverse youth from various socio-economic;
- Must be able to work within a collaborative care model.

Licence/Certification:

- CCC or CAP or equivalent (preferred)

Work Location: In person
