**About the company**
**About the position**
We are looking for someone to join a small, flexible team professions in our Production Planning Department at our Amherst, Nova Scotia Manufacturing Production facility.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare daily production schedule
- Issue all work orders as per production schedule
- Manage off-site sub-assemblies
- Manage products built at other locations
- Update schedule with changes based on customer demand or production requirements
- Ability to coordinate sales priorities
- Additional Tasks as Required
**Qualifications**:
- 2-5 years’ experience in production scheduling
- Production experience preferred
- Extensive knowledge of MRP, Forecasting, Inventory Planning, Kanban, and Supply Chain design
- Advanced ability to effectively problem-solve & communicate
- Team player within multi-disciplined team
- Strong organizational skill set
- Strong knowledge of Syspro software an asset, as well as Microsoft Office products
- Able to maintain filing systems and databases
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Meticulous records maintenance skills

**Base Salary Range: $ 40,000 - $45,000 CAD/annually**
