Job Summary

SDI Group is seeking passionate certified motorbike instructors to support this new division of the SDI Group. The distinguishing characteristics of the Motorcycle Safety Instruct profile are the responsibilities to represent our team and its partners as instructors that deliver and teach classroom and/or on-cycle courses for motorcycle rider training students of all levels from novice to advanced. Instructors are responsible for student safety and delivering effective coaching during on-cycle instructional periods. Instructors evaluate training and initiate appropriate action. Instructors fulfill course and activity reporting.

Job Overview
- Collaborates with faculty to determine overall program goals and objectives.
- Develops and delivers educational programs using approved curricula and methods, including recruitment, producing course rosters, records and reports, assessment and course evaluations.
- Provides coaching, counsel and remediation to students to facilitate learning and maintain student safety.
- Ensures policies, procedures, and site security measures are followed for classroom and range facilities and equipment.
- Participates in outreach efforts with internal and external stakeholders including presentations, community events to identify community needs and to promote and market educational program to enhance the visibility and participation in the program.

**Qualifications**:

- Being able to speak in front of large groups of people.
- hold a valid class 6 for a minimum of three years.
- 10,000 kilometers of riding experience
- instructors must be a minimum of 19 years of age.
- First aid is an asset
- A criminal record check is required.
- Must be able to work weekends.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Uphold a strict level of confidentiality.
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written skills.
- Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.
- Develop a sustain level of professionalism among staff and clientele.

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- teaching: 1 year (preferred)
