**Salary**:
Classification 5, $44,216.75 - $5,584.28 annually ($24.29 - $25.05/hr), as per the BCGEU Support Collective Agreement. Annual vacation (119 hours) is pro-rated, and front loaded. We offer competitive extended health and dental benefits (staff are eligible after the completion of 6 months of employment). Support Collective Agreement includes time off for family illness, personal illness, and other special leaves. Closure during the Christmas Break (Dec 25 - Jan 1st) of each year is paid time off. Enrolment in the Municipal Pension Plan is mandatory for all regular, full time support staff, with standard contributions matched by the employer.

**Description**:
Our janitorial staff provide cleaning services such as vacuuming, washing floors and windows, carpet cleaning, emptying garbage, restocking supplies and other janitorial duties for the main campus buildings, outbuildings, and student housing.

Daily schedule is 6am - 2pm.

**Qualifications**:
Institutional custodial training and experience is preferred. Heavy physical effort is required to operate cleaning equipment (e.g. floor polisher, etc.). Must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and have excellent interpersonal skills. Being an effective team member is essential. Current, valid driver's license is an asset.
