Toromont Material Handling is looking for a rental specialist to join our team The Rental Specialist is responsible to assist customers in their rental needs from our product line and promotes our products according to the policy and objectives of the company.

**In a typical day, YOU will**:
- Be Responsible to assist customers with their rental needs;
- Fill out and completes rental contracts;
- Promote our products to our existing and future customers;
- Coordinate transport with rental customers (global solutions and others);
- Obtain required authorization from credit for shipping of the units;
- Enter in DBS/SAP system the reservations and contracts « sales order » for the rental to external customers;
- Prepare Rental Quotes and negotiate with customers
- Enter Rental agreement in IRS and TDMS operating systems
- Review the condition of the units for damages and mechanical conditions
- Complete the receiving documents and check for physical damages and mechanical conditions.
- Process the shipping and receptions of equipment in the DBS/SAP system;
- Identifies and corrects all irregularities;
- Update, upload and treat relevant rental unit information gathered in the DBS/SAP system (availability of the units, installation and removal of various accessories, chargers and batteries, transfers);
- Prepare and invoices rentals and overtime;
- Research and treats disputed invoices regarding rentals;
- Complete delivery reports when shipping rental units;
- Register at the RDPRM all rentals when necessary;
- Handle calculation of conversion for the leases with purchase option;
- Open service order for the preparation and return of units;
- Do the filing related to the function;
- Collaborate in all project or work related to the rental department;
- Understand and authorize maintenance repairs to make the unit ready to be shipped;
- Schedule repairs of equipment based on damages quotes provided by the shop floor;
- Create appointment to coordinate ship/receive of machine.

**Qualifications for this role**:
- Post-secondary education in project management or supply chain/logistics is required
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related studies would be an asset
- Knowledge of IRS Rental software and TDMS operating system would be an asset
- MS Office software knowledge including Word and Excel
- Must have DBS/SAP system experience, minimum of 1year
