Landscape Laborer

Job Summary:
**Duties**:

- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and weeding
- Assist in garden bed preparation, planting, and maintenance
- Operate power tools and hand tools to dig, build, and maintain landscapes
- Irrigate plants and lawns as needed

**Skills**:

- Proficiency with power tools for landscaping tasks
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment operation
- Experience in landscape maintenance
- Ability to work in garden environments
- Skill in digging, building, and maintaining outdoor spaces
- Familiarity with hand tools used in landscaping
- Knowledge of irrigation systems
- Perform as team player with focus on optimism and passion
- Efficiently complete landscape tasks according to plan, with focus on quality and production.
- Construct walkways and patios, retaining walls, gardens, etc.
- Dig ditches or trenches and perform land clearing activities
- Plant and maintain garden beds and lawns, and install sod.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment required to complete landscape construction projects
- Transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, dollies, and hand lifting/carrying
- Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, and cleaning on a daily basis
- Operate various tools including: chainsaws, jackhammers, laser levels, measurement equipment, shovels, hammers, drills, tamper, etc.
- Periodically operate heavy equipment, including skid steer and Truck and Trailer

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week

- Landscape maintenance: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
