Culinary Arts School of Ontario, o/a Chef School, is currently looking for a natural leader to join the team as a part-time Chef Instructor This job entails facilitating Professional Diploma Programs (theory and practical), as well as hosting in-person Recreational Classes and potentially Team Building events that are hosted through Culinaria Restaurant. Therefore, being a confident public speaker, ability to inspire others, being friendly and approachable would be some of the non-negotiable requirements.

In our diverse environment, you would mostly be responsible for teaching classes Tuesday-Friday, while working in compliance with our Executive Chef to create a synergy between Chef School and Culinaria Restaurant.

It is imperative that applicants have not only a passion for the arts, but a hunger to learn and continue their own personal growth in the field. We strive to be the most comprehensive privately owned Culinary Arts School in Ontario, not only meeting the criteria of the ministry of education, but gearing our students to be successful in Michelin Star environments.

Part-Time Hours: 20-25/week // Hourly Wage: $30-$35/hour (negotiable)

COVID-19 considerations:
All Private Career Colleges that are a skilled trades program, are able to facilitate classes in-person but do not have to physically distance. Masks are worn by school staff and students.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- teaching: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safety Training Certificate (preferred)
