Experienced Freelance Florist

Toronto, Canada Bellwood Blooms Full time

Bellwood Blooms is an established floral, plant and gift shop located in The Junction. We offer wedding + event floral design services within the GTA. We are currently looking for experienced freelance florists for the 2023 season who have availabliliy to join our team for select dates/weeks ranging from February to October.
- Processing florals
- Maintaining a clean + organized workspace
- Preparing candles, vases and mechanics for floral installations
- Producing/create floral arrangements with a garden inspired aesthetic based on a floral recipe or mock arrangment
- Produce/create handheld floral bouquets based on a floral recipe
- Produce/create wearable florals such as floral crowns, boutonnieres and floral wristlets
- On site event set-up and/or strikes
- The ability to work individually or as part of a team
- The ability to work under pressure and effectivly problem solve when required

Work dates would range from Tuesday - Saturday with the occasional Sunday. A valid G lisence would be an asset. You must have the ability to provide your own transporation to and from our studio (The Junction). Ideally, you would also have the ability to provide your own transportation to and from event locations within th GTA (paid).

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
