Overview:
BW Gold is a wholly owned subsidiary of Artemis Gold Inc (“Artemis”). Artemis is listed on the TSX Venture exchange, and is a well-financed, growth-oriented gold development company with strong financials aimed at creating shareholder value through the identification, acquisition, and development of gold properties in mining friendly jurisdictions. Our current focus is construction of the Blackwater Mine in central British Columbia approximately 160km southwest of Prince George and 450km northeast of Vancouver.

You will have the ability to make a significant contribution to the project team as the Company pursues the disciplined development of the Blackwater Mine. Artemis Gold received its BC Mines Act permit for Blackwater Mine in March 2023 enabling the project to move into major works construction.

Reporting to the Lead - Dispatch, the Dispatch is responsible for scheduling and dispatching workers, work crews, machinery, equipment or service vehicles to achieve optimal production rates.

Location: Blackwater Mine Site - located 160 km south of Prince George, BC.

Schedule: Two (2) Weeks On - Two (2) Weeks Off Rotation

**Responsibilities**:

- Demonstrate effective safety leadership by addressing and enforcing BW Golds safety standards, procedures, and safety systems.
- Schedule and dispatch workers, work crews, equipment, or service vehicles to appropriate locations according to schedules, work orders, specifications, or needs, using radios or telephones.
- Determine types or amounts of equipment, vehicles, or personnel required according to work orders or specifications.
- Dispatch the mine truck fleet to safely maximise production rates.
- Monitor personnel and/or equipment locations and utilization to coordinate service and schedules.
- Arrange for necessary repairs to restore service and schedules.
- Relay work orders, messages and information to or from work crews and supervisors using telephones or two-way radios.
- Serve as central communication personnel for mine production and safety, including emergency events.
- Prepare daily work and run schedules.
- Receive or prepare work orders.
- Oversee all communications within specifically assigned areas.
- Record and maintain files and records of dispatch information.
- Complete shift and production reports in an efficient and timely manner.

Qualifications:

- Grade 12 diploma or GED preferred but not essential.
- Previous dispatch experience considered an asset.
- Minestar experience is an asset.
- Experience in a mine operations role required.
- Ability to work at a remote location camp on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation
- Ability to work night shift.
- Comfortable working and living in close quarters with the team
- Ability to maintain high levels of performance over 12-hour shift
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Flexible with the ability to easily adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
- The ability to solve problems and make decisions.
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
