ORION MACHINING AND DESIGN inc is looking for an **Welder Foreman** to join our Lloydminster, AB team

**Duties** include, but are not limited to:

- Lead and supervise a team of skilled fabricators and welders to meet production goals and maintain quality control standards.
- Oversee the fabrication process from raw materials to finished products, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to maintain product integrity and meet customer expectations.
- Implement corrective actions and process improvements to address quality issues and optimize production efficiency.
- Train and mentor team members on quality control procedures and fabrication techniques.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret blueprints and ensure accurate execution of fabrication tasks.
- Enforce health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to support production schedules and maintain inventory levels.

**Education/Experience**:

- Industry experience in oilfield PCP pumps
- B pressure experience.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
- Current Welding Certificates.
- Five years or more experience in a supervisory role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

**Salary**: $100,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
