With a capacity of 494 beds, our regional hospital has one of the busiest Emergency Department in Ontario and offers an extensive range of services, including specialized programs in renal, stroke, cardiac, cancer care, and vascular surgery.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:
**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**:
- Master's Degree in Genetics Counselling
- Board certified with Canadian Board of Genetic Counsellors (CBGC) or American Board of Genetic Counselors (ABGC). Canadian certification preferred.
- Three to five years clinical experience preferred
**WHO YOU ARE**:
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to use sound judgment and strong problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with physicians, genetic counsellors, genetic assistant, staff, patients, directors, managers, and the community as required
- Ability to adapt to new and evolving requirements
- Ability to manage workload
- Able to work provide counselling services in many modalities including in person, telephone and virtual care
- Demonstrated ability to function autonomously
- Demonstrated computer skills and knowledge of multiple software programs ie. Microsoft Office, Excel
