Warehouse Associate

Northern Canning is a packaging company based out of Bolton, ON that packages mainly craft beer, cider, seltzer and other beverages all over southern Ontario, as well as providing packaging materials.

We are currently looking to add a Production/Warehouse Associate to the team. The person who fills this role will be somewhat of a jack/jill of all trades, helping us stay organized and prepared. We work in over 100 craft breweries, integrating packaging with the customer's brewing equipment and ensure a safe and high quality packaging environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Organize packaging materials for upcoming jobs
- Assisting with labelling production
- Inventory and management of warehouse stock needed for jobs
- Keeping tabs on inventory of cans, lids, trays and other materials
- Occasional assistance on truck/trailer/other equipment maintenance
- Assisting with accepting/sending shipments
- Picking up supplies when needed
- Other duties as they come up

**Relevant Skills**:

- You enjoy working with your hands and have good mechanical aptitude
- You're a self starter who takes pride in their work, being on top and is dedicated to getting the job done right
- You are extremely detail orientated and notice when things are slightly amiss.
- Trying beer from different craft breweries all over the province sounds like a cool perk to you
- Forklift experience/license is an asset
- Experience in the brewing industry or packaging is an asset

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
