Are you passionate about creating robust SharePoint environments and ensuring seamless site migrations? We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Microsoft SharePoint Farm Build and Site Migrations Subject Matter Expert.

**Responsibilities**:

- **SharePoint Farm Architecture and Deployment**:

- Design, implement, and optimize SharePoint farms to meet organizational needs.
- Ensure scalability, performance, and security of SharePoint environments.
- Perform SP FARM SharePoint Installations
- Define Infrastructure requirements - VM’s, CPU, RAM, Disk. Etc.
- **Site Migration Planning and Execution**:

- Execute end-to-end site migration projects, ensuring mínimal disruption to users.
- Provide and create required documentation needed for the project
- Ability to review documents and provide signoffs.
- **Subject Matter Expertise**:

- Serve as the go-to expert for SharePoint-related queries, providing guidance and support to team members.
- Stay abreast of the latest SharePoint developments and recommend best practices.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs.
- Communicate and effectively resolve and issues and concerns.
- **Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution**:

- Identify and resolve SharePoint-related issues promptly to ensure continuous system functionality.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing SharePoint farms.
- Expertise in planning and executing site migrations, including content, permissions, and configurations.
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture, security, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator) are a plus.

**Preferred Skills**:

- PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration.
- Experience with third-party migration tools.
- Knowledge of Office 365 and hybrid SharePoint environments.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: $40.00-$100.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ajax, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- PowerShell Scripting: 3 years (preferred)
- Sharepoint migration tools: 3 years (preferred)
- Office365: 3 years (preferred)
- hybrid SharePoint Environment: 3 years (preferred)
