AECOM’s Environment Business Line is seeking a **Civil Specialist **to join our team of professionals in our Markham Office, Ontario. This is a **Full-time **role.

**Key Responsibilities** include, but are not limited to:

- Provide geotechnical project management and technical expertise in support of on-going AECOM projects.
- Work with other geotechnical staff in Ontario and other geographies to provide the geotechnical, geo-environmental and hydrogeological field services to current and prospective clients, and actively participate in local and regional collaborative opportunities.
- Maintain positive working relationships with client contacts, suppliers, contractors, engineering consultants and external agencies.
- Prepare proposals for medium to high complexity projects for various geotechnical field investigation programs.
- Oversee work performed by junior staff and EITs.

**Qualifications** Minimum requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Environmental and Geotechnical engineering related topics or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 years of geotechnical, geoenvironmental and hydrogeological work experience.

**Preferred qualifications**:

- MTO high complexity work experience in the GTA.
- Knowledge of geotechnical, geo-environmental and hydrogeological engineering.
- Experience with large projects and coordination with other disciplines.
- Post graduate degree in Engineering or Environmental Science.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage the project schedule with limited resources (planning skill).
- Willingness to work flexible hours under a variety of conditions.
- A strong commitment to safety.
- Strong organizational ability, and manage multiple projects, and deliver on time and on budget.
