**JOB SUMMARY**:
An itinerant Ojibwe/Cree language Support Instructor is required to assist in Ojibwe/Cree language programming throughout
the Louis Riel School Division. Duties include working alongside Indigenous Education team and classroom teachers to support
language and cultural programming and professional development for staff.

**QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE)**:

- Highschool graduate, G.E.D., or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Respect In School or equivalent training is required.
- Related post-secondary education preferred.
- Experience working with Indigenous communities, students, and organizations.
- Intermediate to bilingual in Ojibwe or Cree.
- Knowledge of traditional Indigenous teachings.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team member.

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**:

- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Search.
- Clear report from the Child Abuse Registry.
- Review and comply with Divisional policies and guidelines.
