Concrete Pump Operator

**Job Summary**
Hirsch Creek Concrete is seeking full-time Concrete Pumper Truck Operator and Ready-Mix Driver to support operations in and near Kitimat, BC. The Operator will have strong familiarity with concrete plant operations. Certified Pump Truck operator required with experience in Ready-mix truck operation and precast concrete products preferred. Will be responsible to ensure equipment is maintained and operated safely at all times and that paperwork is completed accurately and in timely manner.

**Qualifications**

Their role is to be the Company representative as they slump, deliver and discharge high quality concrete to a wide variety of different contractors or customers

Knowledge and Skills:

- Must hold Certified Concrete Pump Operator certification or have sufficient knowledge and experience to obtain as a condition of employment. Hirsch Creek offers full re-imbursement on successful completion of the written and practical exams with employment contract
- Setup and break down of equipment for concrete pours
- The applicant must be able to lift and move product sometimes involving strenuous labour.
- Will be required to maintain necessary logs, driving records and MOT certifications.
- Complete Daily pre trip inspections and cleanout procedures of vehicle.
- Must have a valid Class 3 drivers license with air brake endorsement
- Perform a variety of tasks as needed when not delivering concrete; ensuring equipment is maintained and in good operating order

You will also demonstrate:

- Complete driving assignments in a timely and safe manner.
- Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
- Able to work in adverse weather, overtime and weekends if required.
- Follow and adhere to all the Company’s safety procedures and directives.
- Self-motivated and can work with mínimal supervision; conduct yourself in a professional and respectful manner at all times

**Salary**: $30.00-$38.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

- Kitimat, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:
