Wesgroup is seeking a Development Coordinator to add to its development team in Vancouver. This individual can expect to assist the development team on a wide variety of projects over time, from large master-plan projects such as River District to smaller commercial/industrial projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinating public consultation events and neighborhood engagement
- Issuing RFPs, summarizing submissions and notifying consultants of outcomes
- Assisting with managing project consultants and contractors through design, development and construction (coordinate drawing and specifications to project consultants, sales and marketing team, trades and construction team)
- Managing electronic and hard copy files and project ftp sites
- Supporting the development team with preparation of consultant agreements, purchase orders, change orders and internal commitments
- Conducting general research and market analysis
- Supporting the development team in preparation of presentations
- Assist in due diligence work and analysis for potential projects or properties

**Qualifications and Knowledge**:

- A fit with Wesgroup’s culture and organizational approach is paramount
- Education and background in Real Estate, Commerce, Urban Land Economics, Architecture, Planning, Legal or Engineering
- Established network of contacts within the municipal, consultant and development communities
- Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills including the ability to multi-task with competing priorities
- Excellent understanding of business professionalism and the ability to work effectively under pressure within a fast-pasted team environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) are required
- Positive attitude and a desire to help others
