**INSTRUCTOR -QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of industrial and Training experience. Health & Safety experience preferred.
- A working knowledge of Provincial OHS Legislation
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office software
- Clearly read, write and speak fluently in English (French communication is an asset)
- Strong leadership, influencing, teamwork, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to clearly and assertively communicate course content and materials
- Current First Aid Certificate (Level 3/ 2) - preferred
- A Team Player that accepts and can manage change regularly
- Demonstrated Leadership abilities with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Train the Trainer Qualifications in programs such as Work at Heights, Confined Space Entry. WHMIS, First Aid, etc.
- Respirator fit testing on a Port-a-count system an asset

**TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Knowledge of the OHS Act and Regulations
- Training experience with: Working at Heights - Fundamentals of Fall Protection; Confined Space etc. Certified First Aid/CPR /AED trainer is an asset
- Minimum 2 - 5 -years experience in this position or similar
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent teamwork and team building skills
- Be able to work within a team environment as well as work without supervision
- Self-starter that exhibits a high level of initiative and resourcefulness
