**How will you make an impact?**

Responsible for material handling and control in the warehouse in order to provide service to all internal and external clients. Ensures that the warehouse is managed in a manner that enhances operating efficiencies and is compliant with company policies and current Good Manufacturing Practices. Provides guidance, leadership and training to direct reports

**What will you do?**

**Essential Functions**:

- Creates or revises all warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), conducts training on SOPs that affect warehouse personnel.
- Provides direction, training, and developmental opportunities for warehouse staff.
- Responds to all audit comments and prepares appropriate action plans.
- Ensures material locations in SAP are accurate and updated in a timely fashion.
- Ensures backup support for all warehouse functions.
- Controls, stages, documents, and coordinates reject/waste shipments with EH&S.
- Ensures all warehouse functions meet the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
- Coordinates purchases within budgetary guidelines.
- Addresses warehouse space issues by managing outside warehousing and initiating and investigating innovative new warehousing options.
- Selects, develops, and evaluates staff to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Works with and advises staff on administrative policies and procedures.

**How will you get here?**

**Education**:
College/Technical School diploma in Business or related field.

**Experience**:

- Minimum 5 years supply chain experience.
- Leadership experience an asset.
- Extensive ERP experience in Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) environment.
- Experience with SAP (an asset)

**Equivalency**:
Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:
Outstanding leadership skills; a demonstrated ability to motivate and empower. Excellent, interpersonal and organizational skills. Excellent computer skills. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices required. Exceptional written and oral communication skill. Proficiency with the English language.
