Signworld Canada Inc is looking for a full-time industrial seamstress/seamster at our Dufferin and Finch location.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
This position will be mainly responsible for assembling printed fabric products to spec and packing them for processing with accuracy.

Working with various types of material, such as nylon, vinyl, silicone, and attachments such as velcro, zippers and hoops according to pattern specifications and item requirements.

Inspecting material and workmanship for quality control.

Maintain good housekeeping practices with regards to personal work areas.

Providing feedback on processing procedures and patterns to ensure compatibility with workflow and end-product goals.

**COMPETENCIES REQUIRED**:
Strong communication skills - both written and verbal.

Positive, enthusiastic attitude with consideration to the team environment.

Ability to manage time with little supervision.

Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Repetitively assess priority of tasks throughout the work day, and in the context of the processing of several concurrent orders.

Ability to adapt to concurrent tasks and update appropriate team members on completed tasks.

Exhibits a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Knowledge of safe operation of industrial sewing machines.

Experience on double needle industrial sewing machines required.

1+ years of professional sewing experience is a must.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
